Facts & Tips about Envelope Angel

The UK uses over 60 million envelopes every day, 4% of these are padded envelopes that cannot be recycled.
That’s 2.4 million padded envelopes used every day that are not recyclable and destined to go straight to landfill.

envelope angel™ has been created to help divert this tide heading for landfill by sending them on another journey.
The vast majority of padded envelopes are strong enough to make many journeys and you can help them once you're armed with a set of envelope angel™.

Although envelope angel™ was designed with padded envelopes in mind there is nothing stopping you using them on normal paper envelopes as this will also help reduce waste.

The angelic mission of these label sets is to:
• Reduce energy consumption
• Reduce pollution associated with making envelopes
• Reduce the required amount of landfill space and incineration volume required in disposing of envelopes

The smart envelope angel™ dispenser is made from a very high percentage of recycled fibre and is printed by hand using environmentally friendly inks. The label paper is made from sustainable managed fibre sources and is also printed with an environmentally friendly ink. Both the dispenser and labels are produced in the UK to a zero landfill policy by Blue Marmalade Ltd. This localised and no waste production means you’re buying a product with a very low carbon footprint into which a great deal of care has gone.
